Buongiorno Roma!!

Our flight was decent…watched Where the Wild Things Are…still not too impressed with the movie. When we landed, we were surprised how easy immigration was. They didn’t ask us anything! After finding out bags in the OTHER luggage claim ha, and putting everything back together, we walked straight through what seemed to be customs, and called Daniele…Samantha and Vale’s friend! Unfortunately…we were missing a digit from his cell, but didn’t realize this until hours later and a few train rides in the outer skirts of Roma! BUT…we finally found him. HE graciously took us all the way to Morlupo, which is BEAUTIFUL to say the least! And he gave us a map…which little did we know at the time, was going to save us during our next few days!

Amazing view in Morlupo

But back to Morlupo….gorgeous rolling green hills with stunning Italian homes! Here’s a pic

Morlupo!

The next day we went to catch the train to Roma, but the walk to the train took wayyyy longer than expected …about 45 minutes. It was fine because we were actually happy to walk around Morlupo for the day! We got lunch and were pretty discouraged because we couldn’t speak Italian well enough to order lunch haha! LUCKILY the gelato people at this cute little cafe made us feel better! I saw Vienetta and got excited because it reminded me of mu Mum and good times!
